Laminate flooring made to last
Pergo invented laminate floors over 35 years ago and still leads the category today with advanced engineering and production. To offer laminate that's more beautiful and durable than other laminate flooring imitators, Pergo constructs its laminate with several patented materials, bonded together under extreme heat and pressure without toxic chemicals. These layers include:
1 TRANSPARENT, WEAR-RESISTANT OVERLAY
A variety of textures that closely imitate real wood along with a ScratchGuard Advanced and PermaMaxTM wear layer for superior scratch and scuff resistance.
2 DESIGN LAYER
Real visuals and patterns of natural wood, stone and ceramic.
3 WATER-RESISTANT HDF CORE BOARD
Patented click-joints for snap-together installation and a core of high-density fiber board that gives stability, dent-resistance and is made of recycled materials.
4 BALANCING LAYER
Balance layer for stability — prevents bowing or collapsing.
Patented, durable layers protect Pergo laminate
While Pergo laminate visuals are very similar to real wood, stone and ceramic, it features protective layers that resist wear and protects from scratches and scuffs. Many premium Pergo floors combine ScratchGuard Advanced with our superior wear layer to create a durable surface that stands up to two times the wear of other laminates.*
Variety of colors add depth and style
Pergo high-quality laminate floors feature a high-resolution photo and variety of realistic surface textures to closely imitate real wood, stone or ceramic, creating a look with depth and color. Our premium printing process creates rich colors that don't fade, so you can enjoy a beautiful floor style at home for years to come.
